I am pleased to report that in August, County Council approved my recommendations for the Green Ribbon Committee. The GRC will be a committee of citizens, municipal representatives, and local experts working for solutions on sustainability and a comprehensive solid waste plan. Charleston County Council also agreed with my proposal that the Convention and Visitors Bureau provide economic impact data to assist Council in reviewing Accommodations Tax decisions for next year.
